MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I have loved every single minute of 2012. Starting off on a high, carrying on with a strong work ethic, finding what I really want to do, the Final Major Project of my two years at sixth form, the fashion show, turning 18, working at Lucy in Disguise, the Royal Jubilee, the patriotic & nostalgic feel for Britain, the Olympic high, London Fashion Week, getting into university, studying fashion design at degree level, it’s been bloody incredible.
Oh, and Christmas…
(yes I became a domestic Goddess over my time at uni and made christmassy cupcakes!)
What’s Christmas without a few treats?!
Well Christmas is over now, I’m afraid, let’s get on with it! New years means one thing to me: fresh start. I love it. LOVE it. I like the chance to reinvent myself, set myself goals, re-organise myself. It’s refreshing.
So here are some resolutions I came up with:
1. Keep priorities intacts
2. Stay organised with work, blog, social life and personal life
3. Put 110% into everything I do
4. Update my blog a lot more, and keep focused on my own work and mini projects for myself, as well as degree progress.
5. Timekeeping!
I know I don’t update my blog as much as I should, but I do love this thing. I’m starting on my own small projects which I’m going to work on and update you on throughout the year. Mainly research and design development based, but to be honest, that’s what I’m best at. I definitely felt that I need to improve most on my making skills when it comes to fashion design. That’s okay though, I’m glad there is room for improvement, it gives me so much more to work with.
